Need help getting a cd key for WC3

I lost my cd key but the game is installed on my computer
Does anyone know if there is a way to extract the cd key from your game files for Warcraft 3?

Not sure for that game specifically, but I'd start by checking the registry entries. I haven't played many games on the PC in ages apart from maybe CSS and so I could easily be wrong.

CD keys are not stored in the registry. They are encrypted into a MPQ file when you install the game.

You have to realize that most of the people who post questions like this are trying to use a pirated disk, and don't get much help here...
There ARE key-generators available on the intarweb...but, you takes yer chances with them...not all are very legit.
