Need help from you grammar Nazis

I'm wondering which of the following sentences is appropriate in using the word "whether":

A. Can you tell me whether or not I am using correct grammar?
B. Can you tell me whether I am using correct grammar?

So, which one is it? I'm trying to figure it out myself. 😕

It needs two parts to be a complete sentence. "can you tell me whether this or that." "Can you tell me whether this." is a sentence fragment.

A. Can you tell me whether or not I am using correct grammar? --> is correct
B. Can you tell me whether I am using correct grammar or incorrect grammar? --> corrected

i think...

According to this link, "B" would be acceptable.

actually, i think the example is correct because there is a negative 'i forgot' in the sentence to complete the 'two parts' requirement.

so ?I wonder whether I forgot to turn off the stove??
is really the same as ?I wonder whether or not I turned off the stove?? (aka part A)

BIG imo though...

Man I throw whether around all over the wethering place and I have no clue whether I am using it correctly.

This project has been hugely successful, judging by its high ranking in Google when you type in the word ?English?. It would probably be #1 if people would just link to the correct address at http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/ instead of the obsolete (though still functional) address at http://www.wsu.edu:8080/~brians/errors/. If you?re recommending my site, please use the first address. it?s also easier to type and remember.
