Ok, I traded my 1.6 xbox for another 1.6 xbox and kept the drive out of my old one. Had all my goodies on it. When I installed it, I now get error code 16. I assume that this occurs because the drive is locked and from what I am reading is due to the time not being set or something.(duox chip is installed)
Is there an easy fix for this? By easy, I mean SIMPLE. I am by no means an XBOX guru, but can do things if given good directions 🙂 I downloaded XHDM hoping this would unlock the drive to fix the problem.
I hooked the xbox HDD to my primary master on my PC
Burnt the XHDM to a disk and tried to load with no luck. The disk was not being read.
Any assistance with this type of issue. I was told about possibly hotswapping to fix the issue. I do have a brand new xbox also that has not been opened. Can it be used at all to fix the problem?
