I'm wondering if somehow I dont have something grounded because every once in a while a static spark sound comes from my box and if I have my speakers on and up then I hear it in my speakers. What can I do to get rid of this? What could it be that isnt grounded or something... I have an aluminum case with an acrylic window - are these known to have static issues? Thanks

How old are your speakers? I have some JBL speakers that are about 5 years old and they do that every time I turn them on. It goes away in about 4 seconds when I turn the knob.

Funny thing is if I have my headphones plugged in instead of my speakers I get shocked through my headphones in my head!
