Need help finding multimedia panel

I'm looking for a multimedia panel for my new system build that has usb, firewire and mic/headset ports but uses the MB headers for all the connections. So far I've had little luck finding it. The closest things I've found are the silverstone sst-fp31-b (but it doesn't use the headers for the 1394 connection) and the frontx system but it isn't as "clean" looking as I was looking for plus to get the ports I want it runs about $40-$50. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Have you looked at the Logisys (also sold under the Sunbeam name) 20-in-1 at SVC.com? IAC, SVC has quite a selection - they have the best price on the FP31, $12..

Front-x has adapter cables that would, for example, allow you to connect the FW from the SST to internal header pins - but you'll have to find a place to tuck all the excess cable. You can also just buy the header shell and contacts and mod the FW cable to be header attached. Requires cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, etc...
. I have the SST -FP31 that you mentioned (except I have the silver version). It is a pretty nice panel but it will need the optional adapter bracket (see it on the SST site - not widely available from resellers) to work well in many cases. Right now mine is taped to my floppy drive to keep it from coming out when I try to unplug a cable - and I have an SST case (Berserker) :roll: . Luckily I remembered that I have a set of notebook drive adapter brackets that look like they can be rigged to hold the SST panel in place.
