Hey all,
I have been in the market for a 720P projector for the past couple months and I have been having a hard time making a decision.
I narrowed it down to the Infocus X9 at tigerDirect, but now they are out of stock (it was ~$600)

I have found the Mitsubishi HC1600, but I have been reading about it and it sounds like it wont be the best situation for me.

The reviews say it wont be as good during sports and video games, which is pretty much 99% of what I use my TV for. Does anyone have this projector, or can offer any insight into how bad the rainbow artifacts are?
Anyways, here are the further details:
- Will be used in my main room
- Can control light pretty well, but it will still be fairly bright in the room during the day. No direct light will make it into the room, but the curtains wont block all of the sun.
- Will mostly watch football, basketball, and the occasional movie with it.
- Will play video games on it a lot.
- Need HDMI port on the projector
