Hey Guys:

I'm in search of a motherboard that will support dual 1200MHz Celeron processors.

Does one exist?

If one does exist, which one would be the best bet?

Thanks in advance

Sorry but can't be done. The later celerons can't be run in duals.

Cheap/Fast dual CPU system is using the AMD 760MPX boad. You can run dual Durons (1ghz up) or Athlon XP's

Thanks for your help. It never fails that when I have the parts laying around I can not do a thing with them. :(

I may look into the AMD solution. I simply need the best bang for the buck with very few bucks.

I think a dual TUALATIN FC-PGA2 1200-1400 Mhz system would run quite nicely.
Just have to make sure you get your hands on the dual cpu capable Tualatin's

The dual-capable Tualatins are the ones with 512kb L2. Not cheap :( but powerful. For what it's worth, a dual-1200 Celeron system would not be much different from a single-1200 Celeron system unless you have multithreaded apps (plus a dual-aware OS such as WinXP Pro, Win2000 or WinNT), or unless you routinely bog the system down with long ongoing tasks and could use the second CPU for word processing/browsing/whatever in the meantime.
