Need help finding a DVD player

I've been trying to do some research but I'm still new to this game. I just bought a new tv LCD HDTV and wanted to change my dvd player since it doesn't recognize DVD+R discs.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of dvd player would be best for me. My budget is around $100 or so. I'm hoping some of youse guys could recommend some models that'll wow the wife.

I dont think this reads DVD+R but can record on them

Wow thanks for all the links! Question about the Cyberhome. I saw that it has a HDMI cable. My TV has that connector as well but from my understanding, HDMI is video and sound in the single cable. Do I have to use the HDMI connector for the best picture or will component cables be ok because I'd rather use the toslink connector with my receiver for the sound.
