I recently purchased my own Dell 600M and went to
eBags.com to buy my laptop backpack. I planned on biking to school, so the attache-type bags wouldn't work, neither would briefcases.
If you go to their site, you can browse by price, which laptops will fit, and type. The website also shows pictures of the bag, open, closed, and filled with stuff, so you can see what it would look like.
Anyway, I ended up with a Targus backpack, forgot the name though. It has it's own sleeve for the laptop, is heavily padded, and has enough pockets for me.
