I need to know which ram to get, OCZ Gold? Plat? Crucial?

I know DFI boards won't deal with budget RAM.

I also need a PSU. 500watt or so?

I was thinking the OCZ PowerStream 520W might be good.

I need a case.

I need a monitor.

Case and monitor are the two things that I haven't researched at all.

I need a bit of guidance here as to what I need.

Thanks in advance.

For ram, I'll recommend what was recommended to me, g.skills. Those are great for overclocking, especially the 2GBZX's.

For a case, I'd recommend one of the Antec P series: p150, p160, 180, pretty good cases, good air flow, relatively quiet, p180 being the quietest.
Or just get anything that will suit you well, lets just say with a drill and a sawzall any case has the potential to unleash good airflow(I have the xdreamerII, modded)

For a monitor, I'd want one of the Dell's on a hot deal, 2005FPW or the 2450FPW..or if wide screen isn't your thing then a 2001FP, something along those lines, those monitors have great specs, and if you hit it at the right time, they have great prices too. I'm still on a 19'' piece of crap CRT because I'm cheap like that, but eventually I will buy one of the above.

As for the PSU, I've done some research on this, yeah 500watts and up sounds sufficient I suppose. Some brands that give good bang per buck are seasonic's, fortron's, and arguably enermax and ultra's. Look out for the +12v output especially, around 20amps and up only, for one rail at least.

Good luck.

Dell LCD
Seasonic S12 or Antec Neopower PS (Seasonic for low noise lvl or Antec for modular cables)
Ram ???
Case Your choice. I like Antec, but it is all up to you.

Send that back and get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103596

I agree with this 100%

I have to point this out to you.....

All the types of memory recomended to you here by everyone is great, but not for the DFI board!!!!

If you want to overclock the DFI board will work MUCH better with some OCZ memory in it. I would go with the OCZ Platinum EL Rev.2, works very nicely in the board. I had some Crucial Ballistix from another machine I have, didn't work worth sh!t in the DFI board. Trust me go with some OCZ if you are set with buying the DFI board, take a look at my sig, obviously I have a decent overclock with my setup.
