Ok I just built my system and i get no video no beeps no nothing, if I remove the video card I get 1 beep like normal, not the 1 beep followed by 3 short beeps to indicate no video card is present, only once during all the times I powered on and off, and through 2 video cards did I see the bios on my screen, I have no pci cards installed and only the floppy and hard drive are connected at the moment, with my gf2 pro in the agp slot the fan does not move as fast as is normal for the card, could I have a bad agp slot, or is it a power supply problem, or what could it be, please help me I spent to much money to throw it away on this system.

Hi utgamer. Welcome to the AT forums. Sorry your first post isn't under better circumstances.

A bad AGP slot is a possiblity. It would be nice, however, if you could borrow a PCI video card from someone and test it out.

Before you get to crazy though, go back to the basics. Pull the AGP video card and reseat it. Before you reseat it, check the slot itself to make sure there's no little bit of dust, etc. in there. I'd also disconnect your hard drive and floppy. Be sure you disconnect the IDE/FDD cables and the power supply wires. Clear your CMOS and then try booting up.

Come back to share your success story or to get more help. (There's guys around here who are way better at this than I am. ;) )
