first of all I blew a fuse, I left the fuse in while moving around the power line and it shorted onto the body/frame. Will this cause a problem? The car starts fine and all still.

Also, the power cable was too long and I coiled a little bit under the rear seats, will this cause any problems?

Man, I don't think I should dick around with any hardware anymore, I'm a danger to myself and everyone around me. :Q

You should be okay. That's why the fuse is in there. It takes the fall before worse stuff can happen. 😉

Nope.

At least it's in your car...if it catches fire you can drive it away from trees and houses. 😀

Thanks, the main thing is I was working in my garage, if the fuse didn't go out I could have set the car on fire, which then would have burned the house down. :Q

Everything should be fine, thats why the fuse is there.
And yes, always ALWAYS have a fuse. No more then 18" from the battery on the power wire, plus the amp fuse.
