Need help enabling the on-board ethernet adapter on an IBM 300PL.

The title says it all, I really need help enabling the on-board ethernet adapter on an IBM 300PL. Its an old model 6862-M4U, there are some switches on the motherboard and i belive i've set the enable ethernet switch correctly but so far nothing. Do i need to do something in the bios too? I know this PC isn't exactly state of the art but hopefully someone has experience with it. I REALLY NEED HELP with this. 🙁

just go in the bios and look around for something that says lan or nic or something and just change it to enabled

Yeah, but i can't find anything like that in the Bios. Nothing that i can change anyway.

hmm can you go to like device manager and enable it there?

I wish 🙂 but it doesn't show up in the device manager.

Does the motherboard come with a cd? Look there for USB drivers.
