Need help deciding between laptops

The acer with core i5 is more powerful but you have to consider all of the features being offered. I personally would think that the acer is the better unit because the core i5 performs more work per cycle than the amd powered hp. You have to understand that neither of these units are a gaming laptop which is something that costs quite a bit more. You might also consider looking at refurbs at an outlet store to get more computer for your money but be careful to pay attention to the warranty because not everyone offers a like new warranty.
