Need help cooling.....It's getting hottttt

Alright...I was spoiled by this winter...Now I need to start cooling it again.

My weather!

CPU is at 120F and case is 80f and it's only 66F outside!

My case

I have plenty of fans (Delta, BetaX) and sound isn't a problem. Please guys give me suggestions...it's ROASTING!!
 
if you allready have good case airflow then the problim has to be you heat sink and fan. what HS/F are you using?? and if whats the temp in your room? cause even with 1 intake and 1 exaust fan you case temp shouldent be that high. also repost all temps in celcius makes it easier for us.

Your case is fine...only 26C. That's a good temp. I'm getting worried...my computer is running hot now. Inside my apartment, it was about 80F today....my mobo is at 34C (got as high as 36C) and my CPU is at 53C. Still stable, but I don't like it. I've got 4 80mm fans in there too.
 
it was 80 today here case never got above 25 cpu idle 39 C max. this thing never gets over 45 C load. runnin XP 1700 @1600.
 
I've got ak Crappy one on now b/c I haven't had the money to upgrade the HSF It's a older Globalwin. It's a Tbird 1.4ghz. Umm.....120mm on the top (cut a hole), 1 120mm in the front, and 2 92mm's on the side, but they're like not blowing anywhere because I never cut holes in the side 🙂 so they're basically pulling air from the side of the case 🙂 Shoudl the front be pulling or pushing air? I never understood these damm fans

even with just 1 front and 1 back it shouuld be ok. if you add the side and teh top it should get really cool
 
You might try re-applying thermal compound.

But with an older heatsink like that those temps are in line. Just to know I'd have one side panel off with a house fan blowing into the case to see how much that lowers the temp and if your case cooling is adding to the problem or not.
 
Have you checked for dust build-up in the case? Especially on the cpu's heat sink+fan. Also if you don't already have rounded ide (ribbon) cables, I strongly suggest getting them. Tying up any possible airflow restrictions throughout your case is a good idea as well. Its not about how many fans, its about air flow!!🙂
 
Your problem is most definitely the HSF. Your case temp is very good, much better than mine right now (96F) but my cpu temp is only at 107F, this is with an 80F room temp. You have a 40 deg F temp difference, that's pretty high. I'm running an AMD 1.4 with a thermaltake 6cu+ HSF and using basic white silicone thermal compound.
 
I have an Athlon 1.4 running at 100% (SETI) with a cheapo (I assume) Coolmaster DP5 HSF and thermal compound. I'm not sure what the temp is in my room here, but my CPU is at 54oC and my case is at 30oC. I built this computer during this winter so I never saw the cpu temp go any higher than 50oC. So I just took off the side of my case and am blowing air in with a house fan. Also, I have two intake and two exhaust case fans. Ah, cpu has dropped down to 52oC now.
 
You can always run vcool. At idle it lowers my temps 5-8C, when running at full load with the idle loop it drops temps ~2C (but the loop uses ~5% of CPU time).
 
Yes i forgot to mention that I am running v-cool too... 🙂 I have a full tower case with horrible airflow, I just ordered a new aluminum one with lots of fans. 😎
