My brother got plenty of computers from his job (apparently the IT guys were throwing away $18,000 worth of computer equipment), better yet their decent computers that put what I have to shame. I am planning on keeping the computer he gave me, instead of selling off the parts and using the money for a system I had planned to patch me over until I could get the rest of money for a killer Athlon rig (decked out with SCSI). Anyway, everything is integrated on this thing, except the drives, RAM, and processor. It's a Pentium II 350 (whooo hooo) with 32MB of SDRAM. I want to get a new board, more RAM, better HD and graphics card and a new case. Oh, and I also need an OS b\c the registry is messed up on this rig, and I don't have Win95 install disks (plus, Win95 is archaic). So, any advice on the following:
1) Mobo
2) RAM
3) Graphics Card
4) HD (20GB)
5) I'll buy the ATOP AT900
I will eventually upgrade to a Pentium III 700 @ 933, please keep that in mind. Thanks for surviving this long post, and for your help.
