Here's the story. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault crashes when I try to start it up. It installs fine, and it gets past the OpenGL subsystem thing, so it's not an OpenGL error. However, after it gets past that, it stops at a brownish-green screen and an error comes up and says "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault has encountered an error and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I've tried everything to get around this. Patching it to v1.11, setting the CPU affinity(I have a dual core CPU), and reverting back to the Catalyst 6.2 drivers from Catalyst 6.5, all to no avail. I even downloaded the demo of MOHAA after this, and it too gives me the same trouble.

Abit KN8 Ultra Socket 939
Opteron 180 dual core processor
2 gigs of PC2700 ram
400GB Seagate 7200.9 SATAII drive
Radeon X1900XT 512mb
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.
Edit: When I had a 3500+ single core CPU and 80GB maxtor and 160GB seagate IDE drives in there, I didn't get this problem.
