Need Help! computer won't boot!

I have Abit VL6 with PIII 800. It was working fine until today. It won't boot up. Power supply is fine, I have replace power supply to test just in case power supply didn't provide enough voltage. I strip everything except the essential part such as video card, cpu, memory to test booting up. I reseat cpu, memory, video card and even reset cmos, remove battery for 15 seconds and still my computer won't boot. Please help!!! I can't afford to buy $70 Post card to test. Any suggestion would help.

Did you get an beeps? Do the fans power up?

ya, make sure the PC Speaker is plugged in , then get out the motherboard manual and lookup "beep codes". That should help... if not, i'm betting mother board problem. and, as above, do the fans spin?

my be6-ii did this, maybe its an abit thing, i've read many abit cases similar.. anyway, it was just showing early signs of its death (it is now in the garbage).. here's my post.. i did get to fix as shown in that thread.. but after that fix.. it stayed up for a week then showed the same problem.. fans would spin and everything just that the leds wouldn't go.. the reason i knew it was the mobo is because i tried it in a different case, different cpu, different ram, different vid... and still, nothing 🙂 kind convinced me 🙂

Thank for responding.

Power supply is working fine, I have test by shorting and replacing with 300 W ps. CPU fan is working, my RADEON fan is working, but I don't get any signal out. PC speaker is fine, I've verify.

No beep or what so ever, just blank screen.

Arrrh!!!!!
