Need help cleaning cpu.

Basically I want to know what is the best and most efficient way to clean the cpu without bending any pins. I do not know if this is the right forum for this type of inquiry. I figure since it is CPU related might as well start here. If it matters it is an Athlon XP 1600+. Thanks for any help.

toothbrush + baking soda/water combination

those pins are stronger than you think

I'd spray it with carb cleaner and after it dries use isopropyl alcohol to clean up the remaining residue.

By the way, there really isn't a need to be using dielectric grease on your processor pins...
