I'ma make the plunge to a more enjoyable 22" LCD this thursday and I was wondering what the best deal would be either from newegg, buy.com or dell.com/outlet ( no sense to pay dell's outrageous retail pricing ).

I will be using the LCD mainly for gaming but also plan to watch a lot of videos/movies on it and possibly use it as the TV for my bedroom with the help of a HDTV tuner card.

I'm looking to spend in the $150 - $250 shpped area and I'm assuming the best deal is going to be in the $200 $250 shipped range obviously.

I'd pref no LCD's with reflective coatings as I can't stand glare. That being said, the LCD needs to be HDCP compliant with HDMI input and DVI input with component being a big plus but not required.

LMK what u guys think a good LCD would be.

To have HDMI and a tuner in an LCD adds about $100 to $200 to the price of a typical 22" monitor. The typicl 22" wide screen LCD with VGA and DVI connections cost beween $150 and $200. The addition of HDMI and a tuner to the TV adds an additional $100 to $200.

If I wanted a tuner I'd expect it to cost even more but then it'd be an LCD TV and not an LCD monitor. I'm looking for an LCD Monitor with HDMI input which generally means the LCD is HDCP compliant anyways.

The only 22" monitor that I know of that fits your requirements and is within your price range is this monitor from Asus (Link).
