Need help choosing a laptop!

I'm looking to buy a laptop.I'm thinking of Gateway or Dell and they seem to have a good service contracts.What does everyone here recommend?Thanks!
 
Dell anyday over anyone else!!!!!


IBM is ok but I find their service is ok. Sony is not that good, nor are toshiba. I love dell, I don't work for them, I fix computers though and they feel better, look better, and have great service.
 
the new dell 4000s came out today. those are really thin. i wish it had a pointstick though, like the 3800. love pointsticks.
