my friend got car got towed today at around 11 am and we came and picked the car up within 2 hours.

The normal fees is $95, which we paid but then we still have to pay a storage fee of $35. The lady told us that once the car hit our lot, we start charging the storage fee. I thought they only charged you a storage fee if you storage your car overnight.

btw, the location is in richmond, Henrico county.

Thanks for the help

my roomate's cousin got the car towed. He's 16 years old, with no license, decided to take his cousin's car out for a spin around the block. It's a 5 speed 03 Accord EX. Cops told us he was doing like 35mph in the parking lot, burning tires. Some people called the cops and when they came, he was still there. They towed the car and took the keys. Still trying to figure out how to punished this rugrat. OH yeah, he got charged for reckless driving, with no permit nor driver license. I guess he can't drive till he's 18. Ahhhhhhhhhh. Now we have to go to court with this rugrat.

Parked next to (ie, within 5,000 square feet) fivespeed5 most likely.

Do you want your car back? If so pay the $35 (expense it to the stupid 16 year old). If not then don't pay it. For $35, it is hardly worth doing all the research and enduring all the frustration.

yeah, we got the car back already. I'm just concerned about the $35 storage fees.

well then go pay the fee. stop whinning about it and pay it now before it gets higher.

If you don't want to pay the fees don't park illegally.
