NEED HELP!! Can you connect 2 SDSL --for networkin junkies!

Hi guys..this is some crazy question but yeah
i basically wanted to know if you could connect two SDSL lines and somehow connect them like you would ISDN. We have 2 1.1 mbps SDSL lines and would like to get achieve a 2.2 mbps bandwith if possible..any info on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!!

Highly doubtful. I think you're envisioning something like "shotgunning" 56K modems, but DSL connections are (usually) viewed as a network connection rather than a dialup connection. Even if they WERE viewed as a dial up connection, or you had a piece of hardware capable of bonding the two streams, you'd need an ISP that would support it. What you MIGHT be able to do, though, is use a program like GetRight to download one segment over one line, & another over the other line. Dunno if it would work or how you'd do it, but you might be able to rig something up.

well.. it can be done:
have 3 NIC's in 1 Linux Box - two nics can be set for the SDSL and the 1 NIC can be set for local network.. set it for a NAT and it should auto balance the load by sharing the connections.

I have the same problem has anybody the exacxt information how to load balance internet with 2 dsl lines (each line has a own changing ip)
