ok i have a duron laptop 750 with 256mb of ram... i need to get it to overheat.... and die... is there anything i can do to make it do that?
what kind of programs can i run simultaneously to make it do that?

A few things come to mind:

1. Microwave
2. Fireplace
3. Stick a match in the floppy drive

Seriously, I doubt you'd be able to "overheat" a laptop. They usually have preventative methods against overheating.

Why?

are u allowed to open the laptop or disassemble it? if so, open it up, take out the HS from the CPU, turn it on for a few sec, turn off and put everything back together and viola.

If u dun want to overheat it, just short circuit the MB, that is easier than overheating. Remove the ram bay cover under the laptop. See any exposed pins? Get a electrical wire and connect 2 pins together, turn the laptop on and boom. Done. If first try fail, try other pins untill u achieve the disired effect.

btw, who made that laptop?
