I am going to build a computer for max of $600, will be used for internet, emailing, storing things from a database, i would like a P4 in it. And if possible a SFF case and mobo. ALso if you can fit a lcd monitor in then try to. I'm trying to tell the guy it will be very very hard.

I always use newegg.com when I am building my computers. I think they are very dependable and they have daily sales. It is a good site to use to save money and the shipping is pretty swifty also.

Does it have to be a P-4? An Athlon XP or even a Celeron-D might be better (and cheaper) choices. I doubt you will be able to fit any sort of LCD (or even a decent CRT) in that budget.

Edit: Are dells out of the question? You can get a P-4 Dell (with an LCD) for less than $600, plus it will have windows and tons of other software. If you fight for some coupons y ou can get an even better deal.
