i have a asus a8v deluxe motherboard
my friend will give me a amd x2 3600
will the 3600 work in my a8v?can't find at asus.com

According to this page, the AMD x2 3600 is not supported by your board. Support starts at the X2 3800 and goes up. You could always update the BIOS to 1014 and try it.
