Ok, I bought a GeForce3 from VisionTek and popped it in my computer....now my computer has a 200 Watt power supply in it and when I turned it on, it just beeped at me 3 times and nothing displayed on the monitor and then it just stopped. So here is my question.....the GeForce3 reccommends at least 250Watts of power in your system to run it....so when I put it in with only a 200 Watt power supply.... could that setup short the AGP slot? Cause gateway had to replace the motherboard after I did that. So now that I have a 300 Watt P/S in there, should I try the card again?? OR will it short the slot again? Oh yeah, and I got another card just in case the last one was ruined.
