need help adjusting samsung 955DF

I can't get it to save the settings when i exit the monitors display controls. When i access the controls the the background becomes pitch black, but when i exit the display controls the black screen gets a grayish haze to it. i have the moire set all the way down. The settings appear to be saved, but the haze is really bothering me. I can see it in games and most of the time, but its most noticable with a solid black screen such as dos prompt. Even on BIOS POST its hazy. please help

bump, i'm talkin about the little slide out panel on the monitor itself, its not a driver problem.
