Need help about build new AMD system :)

I'm planing to build new AMD system and I can't make the final decision for the CPU, Heatsink, and Motherboard.
Can somebody help me which configuration will help me to decided which configuration can help me to have a rock solid system? 🙂
The one that i already decided was the case (which is enlight with 300 watt power supply). 🙂
And i will planning to have dvd-rom, and 20-40 GB hard drive. And for sure I'm not planning to overclock my system 🙂
This is the list that i come out with:

CPU Fan:
Thermaltake volcano II or Thermaltake Volcano 5 ?

MotherBoard:
Iwill KK266plus
KT7A
MSI K7T Turbo Limited Edition
ECS K7S5A Sis 735

And the most confuse one 🙂 ,CPU (I've got all the price from newegg):
AMD TB 1Ghz 266Mhz $83
AMD TB 1.2Ghz 266Mhz $105
AMD TB 1.2Ghz 266Mhz (AXIA stepping) $109--> Could you guys tell me what is the different with the one on the top and is it worth the money if it's $4 more expensive?
AMD TB 1.33Ghz 266Mhz $113
AMD TB 1.33Ghz 266Mhz(AYHJA stepping) $116--> The same case for this one too, is it worth for $3 from the above option?
or
AMD TB 1.4Ghz 266Mhz $117

Really appreciate all your help 🙂

I heard the steppings are for a lot more/easier overclocking, I think - someoen else will probably say that at least- i don't O/C so I don't worry about it....

Volcano 5, I've heard it's pretty good. For the mobo, unless you want to overclock, ECS K7S5A by far. For the CPU, assuming you have the money, just get the 1.4. On the AXIA and AYHJA, that only matters when overclocking. Good luck.

Consider the Epox 8k7a

I would recommend the 1.33 266 AYHJA as it should OC to the same limit as a 1.4. I bought mine from Newegg before the sold them as AYHJA, and have been running it at 1.53GHz with the vcore only raised by one increment. Can't help ya right off with the Heatsink. I had found a review site, and got the second best for half the price of the best, but didn't save any info.

>>On the AXIA and AYHJA, that only matters when overclocking. Good luck.<<

-No, there were other significant improvements in one of these steppings one being increased stability.

like madthumbs said, consider the epox 8k7a. it is a great ddr solution until the via kt266a comes out. and depending on what you use your computer for, a 1ghz could be enough for you. i bought the 1.2ghz from newegg a month ago and overclocked it to around 1.4ghz. if you're into overclocking you might consider getting the axia or AYHJA stepping because they tend to overclock better. but i think if you order the regular cpu, you might get the stepping you want anyway.

I'd go with the Volcano 5 since those Tbirds put out a lot of heat. If you're going to be buying from newegg anyway, you should take a look at some the GlobalWin heatsinks as well. They perform really well but are very loud.

As for the mobo, if you're looking to stay where you are with you chip, go with the ECS board. Great performer and rock solid. If you plan to O/C, the Epox 8k7a seems to be the board of choice right now.

I'd say to lay down the money for the 1.4 tbird OEM. It's the best value for your money right now. Also, as far as I know, Newegg only carries the AYHJA stepping of the 1.4 tbird. Someone on another forum mentioned that there are alternate steppings out there, but I've personally purchased 5-6 1.4 tbirds from newegg and all of them have been AYHJA. So you can save yourself however much money and just order the regular 1.4 tbird.

Good Luck!

NOT overclocking:
ECS K7S5A motherboard
Coolermaster DP5-6131A Heatsink/fan (8 bucks at newegg)
AMD T-bird 1.4ghz

Overclocking:
Epox 8k7a mobo
Thermaltake Volcano II (for performance), or Taisol HSF (quiet and wel-performing - get it at taisol)
AMD T-bird 1.33ghz (get ayhja stepping)

If i go with ECS K7S5A Sis 735 and athlon 1.4 Ghz, is my enlight 300watt power supply can handle it very easily?
