Hi, thanks in advance.

Here is my situation. I have a Wireless router. However, I would like to have internet on a non wireless computer up stairs(Signal not great even assuming the upstairs computer had wireless) I actually have a small ethernet network with 3 computers connected by a lan switch. Is there a device like a Wireless - Ethernet link or something where I can use the device to receive the wifi signal and plug it into my ethernet switch up stairs?

Pick up a cheap WRT56G(L/S), or other compatible brand, and flash it with DD-WRT. Then set it up as a client bridge to your existing wireless network. That'll get you where you want to be.

I use the Wireless Routers of Asus coz with DD_WRT they can do much more than the AP.

In any case the spec.on NewEgg for this device seems to be inaccurate.

Log to Asus support find the manual of the AP and rse if it can be configured as client Wireless device.
