I have been listening to Paul Oakenfold, Crystal Method and Infected Mushroom. I'm really starting to like the stuff. Anyone have any other good recommendations for this type of music?

I like stuff like Massive Attack and Dntel, but I don't know if it's considered techno/trance. Probably trip hop or something more laid back like that.

Sounds like you're into basically progressive Trance and/or House with a dab of Techno. If you delve further into this type of music you'll find there are virtually limitless genres within genres. 🙂 With what you've provided here I'd probably recommend DJ Tiesto, Sander Kleinenberg, George Acosta, and Christopher Lawrence. There's a ton more but you can't go wrong with any of those guys.

I personally tend to like a bit slower BPM's and more jazz/soul/tribal style house, but basically I don't discriminate. My favorite DJ's are Mark Farina (deep house), LTJ Bukem (DnB), Bad Boy Bill (insane funky house), and basically any French house DJ. French house >>> all.

As far as actual recording artists in the basic "techno" classification - Crystal Method being one of those - I'd also recommnd Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, and Leftfield.

disregard 'some' of the paul oakenfold, suddenly he started mixing other stuff and that got into my trance list. his new CD sucks imo, Bunkka. I like only southern sun in there.
