------------- Need good pair of ear buds for ~$50

thatsright

Have a Creative zen, but the included buds suck and they are falling apart.

Would like to spend less than $40 on a good pair of buds. Maybe even $50 if I'm blown away.

Anyone know of a roundup review of buds for this price range?

Thanks

Big  to the JVC Marshmallows. Sub $20 and they sound better than my $80 Shure E2's.

Ditto, my E2C's have been sitting unused in a drawer since I got a pair of the JVCs. Incredible sound for the price.

I have some panasonic earbuds I got for fairly cheap ($50 at the time with a $30 gift card, but I've seen them on sale for $20 lately) and they're really good.

I have a pair of those as well. They work fine and I think I paid $30 for them. Much better than the crappy ear buds that come with the iPod.

Where may one find these JVC Marchmellows for cheap?

Don't bother!! Seriously.

Just got some of the JVC Marshmallows and they are without a doubt, HORRIBLE. distorted, tiney sound, scratching. But the most noticeable is the utter lack of Bass. Nothing.

Thank god I saved the BB receipt. "Worst headphones ever!!"

Amazon ratings are not too bad.

I think I'll try out a pair.
