Need Good DVD burnable Media?

I need some really good DVD burnable media. Dose anyone know of any really good Discs that will burn nice and clean?

The 2 brands that I have had 2 coasters out of 400+ Both had visible defects on the disc, thus the reason the burn wasn't successful.
 
The best I know of is Taiyo Yuden media if you need it to last more than just a few years. Many of the name brand media are made by them but there's no way of knowing without reading the codes on the disc.

I archive a lot of files and much to my dismay I found discs becoming unreadable after only 3 years.

Ritek used to be very good as well, but not sure how they stand nowadays.

Anything you buy in the store is a crap shoot - the big names buy it from all kinds of different sources and then brand them. Anything sell on sale is generally cheap quality.
