Can I get quiet *and* the move good air?

I have an Asus HD3450 passive, with a PCI card right next to it, and a PD 820 2.8Ghz dual core.

What fans can I out in that move a tom of air, but are near whisper quiet?

Do I want too much?

This case (Thermaltake Bach) has provisions for 1x 80MM in the front, and 2x 60MM in the back.

there are som 80mm fans that move alot of air but they usualy are not quiet, what CFM are you after? and how quiet do you need it to be?

lol 55db 🙂 that thing will scream, i dont think i would put that in a HTPC but i guess if you have a really loud surround system you wont care 🙂

No. I used to use a Cooler Master ATC 620 case that used 60mm fans for my HTPC. Had a LOT of difficulties. Replaced it with an Antec NSK2480 that uses two side-mounted 120mm and it is a LOT better. Antec has a Fusion case that is the same design but looks better for HTPC.
