There are many choices - and, I personally prefer an aluminum case with both Firewire and USB connectability as well as an external power source.

I've used several different brands of external USB HDD cases and was not satisfied due to multitude of reasons, not saying you will have any.

I'm now using Lian-Li mobile racks for my Lian-Li's and found them to my liking. My need was finding something reliable; you must pay to get quality. Here's a Sample
