Need Gateway M320 sound driver - having no luck

I have googled quite a bit, but I think that because this notebook is so old, I can only obtain the driver by installing some "driver detective" type of software, that costs money to find the driver and allow me to download.

Can anybody provide a resource that may get me closer to the sound driver for this Gateway notebook model?

Yes, I have been to Gateway's site. They do not offer a sound driver.

They also offer a Wi-Fi driver that does not recognize my controller, so i'm searching for that too.

Hi Wedge1,

Can you please follow this link and paste out the following for me?

http://www.wikihow.com/Find-Hardware-ID

Since its winXP you won't be able to copy/paste it (that started in vista), but can you take a screenshot at least or manually type it out? The first line in Hardware ID is most important.
