Btw, ProStreet was the first NFS game I DIDN'T beat. My favourite game is Most Wanted. Damn the cops were so hard.

They made the cops hugely easier in Carbon. Shaking them in MW was actually quite difficult. I remember my heart pounding out of my chest on a few occasions as I hid somewhere, waiting for the cooldown meter to fill while hoping no one saw me. Some of those chases lasted a really long time.

Gametrailers review's are usually close to matching my opinions with games so I head over there often. Their NFS:U review was not favorable at all. when I contact EA to obtain a review copy of the game I was denied--I mention this only because the past 2 NFS games have been sent to us and we had less than 1/2 the listeners we do now. It's kinda suspect, but who knows the real reason. Perhaps it's the economy and there are smaller allocations of product to hand out to bloggers/podcasters?

Anywho--I was looking forward to this game because I loved Underground 1 and 2 with Carbon being my favorite of the bunch. Pro Street was just awful in my opinion. Ah well, I have Pure if I want to race it up I guess.

Seeing as how I thought this would be a sort of sequel at heart to the incredibly awesome Most Wanted, I'm going to say I'm surprised. They could have practically remade Most Wanted bit for byte and I'm sure they'd score higher than this with reviewers...

If it wasn't EA, I'd be wondering how this could have failed so hard.
