I'm actually looking forward to it as well as I am sick of all the stupid "rice"/fast and the furious garbage EA has been putting out. Most Wanted looks like it'll play just like the great Hot Pursuit which is my second fav NFS game (after Porsche Unleashed). So far the videos I've seen of the game looks great ...so hopefully EA will deliver.

I don't think Dub Edition is coming to PC....

I believe Most Wanted comes out Nov. 6th.

If you haven't seen it, go to gamespot and watch the 1st official movie, not the 1st official trailer. He jumps over the cops, it's spectacular!

NFS Hot Pursuit (the original) - loved it
NFS Porsche Unleashed - loved it
NFS Hot Pursuit 2 - meh, it was OK
NFS Underground - loved it
NFS Underground - didn't really care for it

I'm ambivalent. I think the NFS games have kinda sucked for years (in particular, the Underground games are just lame IMO), but there is a lot of brilliance in the history of that franchise. NFS2:SE and NFS-PU are far and away my favorites, but NFS3 isn't bad either.

I always wished they'd take the NFS-PU physics and graphics engine and make similar games for, say, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, Ford etc.

I remember getting into a racing game a while back - can't remember its name, but it was for PC and was pretty darn fun. It really gave me a Fast and Furious feel, lots of outdoor tracks and smart AI opponents.

Has anyone used one of those racing wheels to play their games? Like the Logitech MoMo-Force?

If this were the 2000 or 2001, it'd probably be my most anticipated game of the year. EA has done a lot of damage to that franchise (among other things) since then. HP2 wasn't horrible, but embarrasingly under-developed. Three *total* locations that tracks take place in. I was in disbelief when I realized I wasn't going to see anything new after a half-hour of play. Oh, and helicopters dropping TNT crates at you? That was laughable. I only tried a demo of underground. It's not my thing. It not NFS. NFS is open-road racing in exotic environments with exotic cars (preferably with cops and decent AI). NFS3 and Porsche were spectacular. 1, 2, and 4 were good. They need to redeem themselves with this one. Else, this franchise sits alongside Test Drive in my mind.
