I am getting married in 3 weeks, and I need to find a first dance song. I know this is the wrong forum to ask for people who's married 🙂 j/k But what would be a good song to use as our first dance?

We don't really have any songs that mean anything special to us so it's kinda hard finding one we think would be a good one.

If you are married, what was your first dance song?

As a married man, I can tell ya, the most appropriate song would be REM: "It's the end of the world as we know it" 😉 LOL I told my wife I was going to have the DJ play that and she made sure I knew if I did, it would be the end of the world as I knew it 🙂

Of course it depends on the kind of music you like, but how about the actual first song the two of you slow-danced to? That's always a good one.....

Disco Duck would surely go over big. Actually, anything with sexual overtones would be appropriate since you're going to be doing the bump and grind as soon as the reception is over with anyway. 😀

Michael Peterson's "From Here to Eternity"? If you like that style of music. Or "Keeper of the Stars" if you want something a little more country. 😉

i have been married for 15.5 years

i have no clue what our "first dance song" was

the lesson here is, IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE YOU WON'T REMEMBER IT 15 YEARS FROM NOW

have a nice wedding 🙂

You can bet that SHE has every single second of your wedding memorized..

That one from Old School.... 🙂

<Although the lyrics contain the words "turn around," that's not the name of the song. It's "Total Eclipse of the Heart," originally sung by Bonnie Tyler, who I swear must have sung only after sucking down a quart of whiskey and a carton of cigs. She's the best.

The movie's cover band is led by Dan Finnerty, lead singer of Hollywood-hip the Dan Band. You can read all about them at www.thedanband.com. In all seriousness, they sing it all : "Flashdance," "Never Been to Me," "Shoop," "I Am Woman." >

Eve 6 - I Touch Myself

I love myself I want you to love me
When I feel down I want you above me
I search myself I want you to find me
I forget myself I want you to remind me

I don't want anybody else
When I think about you I touch myself
Ooh I don't want anybody else
Oh no, oh no, oh no
