Ok, strange problem with Fdisk.

The drive has an extended partition--when I view partitions, fdisk says that the ext partition has logical drives, would I like to view? Say yes and then it says no longer drives.

When I try to delete the ext partition, it says cannot delete when logical drives present.

What can I do to remove this? I need this drives full capacity asap!

Thanks,
AJ

I'm assuming that this maybe a non-msdos extended partition or not created by fdisk..

U can try to reboot, run fdisk and delete again and reboot and go back in to check or try to use delpart.exe from old msdos disk or download from the link..

Delpart.exe here

Normally, you must remove each logical drive in the extended partition, one at a time.

When that is done, you can delete the extended partition, and likewise, redo the primary partition to use all available space.

Your FDISK menu has at #3 on the menu, DELETE functions go there and don't use #4.

Do you have a linux partition in that extended partition? Windows fdisk can't delete and sometimes won't show ext2 partitions, but it can't delete the extended partition because a partition is still there.
