Need External Connections For a Desktop

I have a desktop hooked up to a smart board. The desktop sits in a cabinet that I can lock and I want to keep it locked. If I don't, people will disconnect cables and take things like the keyboard and mouse.
So I am thinking of an external box (to clean things up, no dangling cables) that would be hooked to the desktop and the ports of the smart board. This would allow others to hook laptops or thumb drives to the system.

It would have a momentary switch hooked to the PC to turn the PC on.

A USB port hooked to the PC for thumb drives.

A VGA port hooked to HDMI 2 of the smart board.

An Audio port hooked to the audio port of the smart board.

HDMI hooked to the HDMI 3 of the smart board.

Can you buy something like this pre-made or do you have to put it together?

Smart board has 3 HDMI and 1 VGA, desktop is on HDMI 1. I could also add a DVI and use that on HDMI 2 and go VGA to VGA. But I haven't seen and laptops with DVI out where I work.

How does having such a box solve the problem of people disconnecting cables and taking peripherals?

If they can lift a 180# smart board and steal it, more power to them.

Yeah, I don't see why the desktop needs to be in a cabinet. Why not leave the desktop out, locked by a cable lock, and with only a power cord connected? Internet can be by internal WiFi if needed, and you don't need to leave a KB and mouse connected at all times.

But otherwise it sounds like you need a KVM plus audio extension.

This might do some of what you are looking for, at least for the desktop. It requires USB 3.0 (which you can add via a PCI-E card if the motherboard doesn't have USB 3.0). You'd need individual cables (I'd hit Monoprice directly for those, or their store on Amazon) for the smart board, if I'm reading what you want correctly.

I don't think it has a power switch for the computer... I think there are KVM switches that will do that, though. I'm looking if there's a KVM/hub that will do everything you want, but I'm not sure if there's a single solution.

EDIT: Ha, this is pretty cool - it's basically an oversized external power button - but I'm not sure if it's a good solution for your use case. Might order one for myself, though...
