Need exact Whitman quote

There was a nice quoete I saw by Walt Whitman the other day that said something along the lines of "what is in your past and what is in your future does not compare to what's within you"

Anyone seen it before.?.google and me had no luck

Oh, it's probably from "Song of Myself", which is from "Leaves of Grass", if that is of any help.

I just did a search of "Leaves of Grass" from Project Gutenberg, and I can't seem to find the exact quote, although there are a lot of lines very similar to this.

Edit: I guess it's not Whitman after all, but it does not surprise me that it's Emerson, either. What took Emerson a few pages to say in prose, Whitman could say in a few verses of poetry.
