This is referring to Hamlet if he had not lived;
"the whole of Denmark must needs have sickened to its death."

Does this mean Denmark would've been in bad shape if Hamlet never existed?

Just want to know what the sentence means. Never heard the usage of "must needs".

Are you sure you wrote out that sentence as seen in the play? Hm...give me some time. :(
