See, the situation is like this. I'm building a computer for my uncle's e-mailing needs. Happen to have a PCCHIPS M748LMRT MB.
That weird MB can support Slot 1 or Socket 370 Chips.
Here's what it says.
Supports Pentium III 450~500MHz ,Pentium II 233~450MHz and Celeron 266~433MHz CPUs with frequency at 66/75/83/100MHz in Slot 1/Socket 370 for Baby AT Form Factor
What're my options? Get a 300a @ 450Mhz or get a CeleronII and a Slotkey? I'm not even sure the CII would work since the MB appears to only support up to a Katmai PIII and without the lower voltage support for a coppermine CPU, i'm not sure i can fit a CII in there.
That said, any advice would be appreciated and anyone have a 300a or any chip that would fit in this MB will to sell it off? Please contact me. Thanks
