%&*^E*&^*E&$

Ok I sold an item on ebay, a print cartridge..

The auction ended 8/30, and until now I still havent seen the payment. I sent her an email lots of times, then finally I sent her a neg feedback.

guess what? SHE GAVE ME A NEG FEEDBACK TOO! she claimed that I acted too quickly!... its almost a MONTH after the auction ended and I NEVER saw the payment..

she even sent me an email whining that his husband (or someone) is in the military, and she cannot afford to pay for now....

is there anyway that I can pursue this to ebay? (get this neg feedback removed?)

Probably not... highly unlikely.

What's your current feedback rating? It's nearly impossible to get a perfect rating. I have like 1000+ positives with 3 or so negatives from people making mistakes, etc.

I only had 10 feedback (not a huge ebay seller)... and this affects me a LOT! :|

realistically, it's probably not worth taking action.....you can take it to squaretrade, i wouldn't spend the $20 to get it removed (actually, pay $20 to have it reviewed). i had the same thing happen to me.

write ebay and attempt to get them to remove it.

Send her an email saying you are going to do this and that if she pays you in 24 hours you will see to it that her negative is changed to a neutral.
Not having the money in a timely manner is not a good excuse. When you bid ebay even reminds you "Your bid is a contract... do not bid unless you intend to pay for the item. You gave her multiple warnings and she didn't respond, even if it was with "I can't pay right now." Make sure you tell this to both her and ebay. Retalitory feedback isn't uncommon on ebay, and they are pretty good an handling it.

Edit: Okay, apparently I'm wrong. But you can still try.

it's not possible to get it removed. the best you can do is "respond" to it and explain to people that the woman was a fcktard. btw, can you link us to the auction?

Um, yes it is possible.

yeah but for all intents and purposes it's not. having to go through squaretrade and all that nonsense is not my idea of "possible" more like "PITA." Also, there's an erroneous idea floating around that you can just "write to ebay"

. that wont work either.

so yeah, squaretrade is possible but that takes a long time, they charge you money and i think you have to get the other person's consent to remove the feedback or some sht.

Yeah, it does suck to have 10% negative rating, but be sure to put a well-worded reply explanation to the negative feedback so those who might buy from you in the future won't worry.

I just require that feedback be posted for me before i leave feedback for you, when I'm the seller. Much easier.
