I bought poker chips from a guy (or a company) on ebay, $110 with shipping insurance, and he claims it was sent on monday the 8th

I emailed him early this week asking for tracking number or shipping info, he wrote me back with this email-
another company drop ships these for us, i will contact them and get a

that was early yesterday morning and havent heard back from him. How much longer do i give him, i sent another email today asking for the tracking number and if he cant give me that then a copy of the insurance reciept.

any suggestions on the next course of action if he doesnt supply them to me?

how long should i wait to notify paypal and ebay?

update:he said friday that he still hasnt gotten the tracking number...what time table should i give him?

update2:
Still no tracking #
Still no insurance #
Still no copy of the reciept
I got his number from paypal and his information from ebay. the name on ebay and paypal are different (possible if its a company) ...the phone numbers are also different. I called the one on ebay, no answer. called the one on paypal and asked for the name from paypal and they said there is no one there by that name and it was a home health center. checked paypal and the person is "Verified" on paypal, so how can they get verified without giving the right name/number?

update3
I tried searching for the name given by ebay on yahoo in the city given and the name exsists, but with a different phone number (but similar) ***-**9-3490 was given by ebay and (***)**5-9034 given by yahoo (re-arranged last 4 digits). I called the yahoo # and they said no one by that name is there and teh ebay number no one has picked up.

the name given under paypal does not exsist according to yahoo in Kentucky. Also both paypal and ebay say Kentucky, but the listing said louisiana...if he doesnt email me back by tonight I will start an investigation.

be patient grasshopper. If he was scamming you I don't think he would answer your email. Give it a few more days. Sometimes they use the cheapest form of shipment and it could take a while.

Probably some kid punching out your chips right now at 3 cents a day. 10 chips a minute.

If you are uneasy, notify Pay Pal now and say you will cancel the investigation once your item comes.

I would say so. You are risking a negative, but that can be disputed for $25. Might be money well spent.

How is his ebay feedback? That is the most important thing to know when purchasing on ebay.

Never notify someone you're going to file a paypal greivance if you're suspicous. It gives them time to take out any balance they are carrying. (If the account has the same amount of the transaction or greater paypal pulls that amount out, pending resolution.)

Otherwise a paypal complaint is as useful as a condom is to skywalker66.
