Need DHCP Server

I need to use this professionally but I would rather not put out the $2k that's needed to buy Windows 2000 Server. I'm looking for a DHCP server that will run on Windows 2000 Pro or possibly linux. Thanks.

DHCP is free for Linux. You just have to know how to configure it. It is a pain at first, but it isn't too hard once you have it going. Very stable. Windows 2000 server would probably be a lot easier for you though... And it is also very stable. I have to admit, I was leaning towards an all-unix server room until Win2k came out. Now I am happy in my mixed world.
