Get CareCredit. It is like a credit card used for medical expenses, and they usually give you the first 3, 6, or 12 months interest free depending on the costs. Most dentists and doctors accept it.

Yes, that is correct. The nuances of such a comment did not seem relevant to me. I am in favor of a system like Canada's but with some changes to better suit the United States.

By the way, I did put in parentheses (well paid via taxes). :)

canada does not have an illegal mexican problem like we do.

I have a few cavities and I desperately need a cleaning, but I have no insurance.

I've called a few places around here and they all want to set up some new patient meetings which will cost $100+. I can see these places getting expensive fast.

Any tips for finding the cheapest way to get my teeth fixed?
Whatever you do, try not to procrastinate any longer. Those "few cavities" will get larger and larger. Then you will be looking at possible root canals, and crowns (caps). Not to mention periodontal disease for lack of having the tartar cleaned off your teeth.

Yeah dude and the blood in your gums is right there next to your brain, so any infections.... well... you see.

Pay the $100 and get a full exam and xrays done. So at least you will know what treatment needs to get done. You act like you are entitled to dental care, for which you aren't.
