Need custom heavy duty shelving

So I have a spot in my garage that is exactly 73" wide, so was looking for a 72" wide heavy duty shelves. I went to Costco, Lowes, and Home Depot, and they have either 48" (most common) or 77".

I did find several companies online that you can order custom sizes:

https://www.budgetlockers.com
https://www.mscdirect.com
http://www.justarack.com

I dont know ANYTHING about the quality of these, but on paper they should do nicely. Has anyone used an online store to order shelving?

Any shelf can be strong if you place more supports under it. Put four or five supports and it will be pretty solid.

Could also buy a free standing unit.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Im not opposed to having wood shelves, as here in Phoenix we dont have moisture to worry about.

Everyone has a different idea what heavy duty means but 72" is a common width for wire shelves. 600lbs per shelf.

Those whalen shelves costco sells are pretty slick. I've got like 8 of them in my store room. They just go together with a rubber mallet. Super easy to set up.

You could make your own out of 2x4s.

Yeah I've usually made my own shelves out of 2x4s for garage\storage areas. I've got some in the basement now and made some 'Above garage door' ones in my last house. Not exactly sure the actual dimensions but I could fit 4x8 sheets of plywood up there. Myself and another friend hung from so they held at least 450lbs.
