I'm looking for 100' of Cat5 and some tools. Anyone have an outstanding experience getting these online? Thanks!!

I always thought Monoprice.com had the cheapest HDMI cables and such. Not sure how cheap their pricing is on networking cables though. Maybe someone else can comment.

What kind of tools? If you, by any chance, mean crimping tools, please do a bit more research before crimping anything or building your own patch cables.

Monoprice.com has very good prices on pre-built cables and jacks and very reasonable shipping.

let me add one more plus for monoprice. i too would go for the prefab cables assuming u know what lengths u need

for long runs, he should get the solid core, not patch (stranded) stuff and punch it down at each end, into a wall box or what not, and run a patch cable from that to his devices

i need to do the same myself in the near future, wireless is killing me on the gaming :-/
